What Is CBD Oil?

For many months now I have watched as post after post came across my Facebook timeline regarding medical marijuana. I pretty much skip those posts. It’s not that I agree or disagree, it simply didn’t pertain to me at the moment and wasn’t really something I was interested in.

Then a post caught my eye about CBD oil. I can’t really tell you why I stopped to read it, but I did. And I am glad I did. I began to do a little research on it and what it does, and I became more and more interested.

What is CBD Oil?

CBD stands for cannabidiol.  It is one of many cannabinoids found in Cannabis. Hemp and Marijuana are cousins in the Cannabis family. The differences in the plants occur in not only physical appearance, but more importantly the chemical makeup and the uses.

The CBD compound is NOT psychoactive which means, you cannot get high from it. It is the THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) compound that when super heated becomes psychoactive.

They are now finding more and more health benefits to CBD than they ever dreamed. Clinical reports and test data show little to no side effects and no psychoactive.

What Does CBD Do?

Many years ago, scientists discovered what is called the Enndocanabinoid System (ECS) in the human body. They didn’t really understand it and there wasn’t much research done on it at the time.

What they are now finding out, is that the ECS, is very important! But what does it do?

Cannabinoid receptors are located throughout the body making up the Endocanabinoid System. These receptors are basically a bridge between the body and the brain. These receptors are involved in a variety of physiological processes including appetite, pain sensation, mood, and memory.

There are currently two types of known receptors, CB1 and CB2. Basically what happens when you give your body CBD, it wakes up these receptors so that they can do what they were made to do.

By using CBD oil, waking up the receptors in the Endocannabinoid System, your body begins to work towards homeostasis.

What is homeostasis?

The definition of homeostasis is the ability or tendency to maintain internal stability in an organism to compensate for environmental changes.

So a few examples of this would be, the temperature of the human body, blood pressure, blood sugar, hormone levels.

Let’s take your body temperature. When a person is healthy, we all know that their body temperature stays around 98.6. This is homeostasis. But what happens when we get sick? Your temp may go up. Your body is no longer in homeostasis. It does not have the internal stability it has when you are healthy.

Many people are realizing and experiencing that the neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory benefits of CBD can help with a wide variety of health issues, including anxiety, pain, inflammation, and many others.

Is All CBD Equal?

No. That is a big fat no! Not all CBD on the market is equal. This is still a somewhat unregulated market and note here and now, CBD products are not yet FDA approved. You can check out this link to the FDA for more information. What they have been finding when they test some of these products on the market, is that the product does not contain the concentrations of CBD that the seller claims it does.

So I did a little more research. I had been looking for a way to make some extra income anyway. I decided to give CTFO and CBD Oil a try. It was free to sign up so I had nothing to lose.

This particular company, is very transparent in everything they do. Their product labels are posted on their site, even their lab test results on their products are posted on their site.

Their hemp is sourced from 100% USA grown hemp farms and the CBD is isolated through CO2 extraction & crystal precipitation, and of the highest grade, pesticide free, Non-GMO hemp in the world. These industrial hemp farms are fully compliant with the State Department of Agriculture regulations and are large US distributors of Hemp, rich in CBD, CBG, CBC, and CBN.

They do not ship CBD products to Nebraska or Canada due to legalities. While other companies out there are doing it anyway and taking a chance, this particular company felt it was in their best interest as well as for their associates, to play by the rules. That was something that was important in my book!

After signing up with CTFO, I placed my first order for CBD Oil and gave it a try. You can find out what happened next here. My CTFO CBD Oil Testimony
